I’m Priyam Puri, a gemologist and entrepreneur from India. My interest in the world of gems and jewelry started at a young age, which led me to join my dad’s business of diamonds and gemstones. However, I was also interested in the science behind it and had an urge to learn more. This led me to enroll in various courses, and I completed my diamond grading from HRD Antwerp in 2020.

In 2023, I completed my Graduate Gemology program from GIA, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills in evaluating and grading precious stones. After completing my education, I worked as a gemologist at IGI-GTL India, where I gained hands-on experience in advanced testing using FT-IR Spectrometer and UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer, as well as diamond testing for both natural and lab-grown stones. My passion for the industry lies in research and advanced testing, and I am committed to taking my family’s business of trading in diamonds and colored stones to an international level.

Since 2020, I have been actively involved in our family business, Sheetal Diamonds. My focus has been on building our social media presence and marketing us as a global brand. I am excited about the future of our business and look forward to expanding our reach in the global market.
